I went out this week to check the spring snow conditions in the Wasatch with fellow backcountry skiers Noah Howell and Guy Evans. I’m always excited to ski some chutes in the Spring, as the base is usually quite good and snow is stable. We were not disappointed! Conditions down Toledo Chute were fast riding soft and creamy corn, super fun skiing.
There is still plenty of great Spring skiing going on, with areas such as Cardiac Ridge looking really well filled-in (see picture below). Come join us for some Spring Chute skiing, there is still a good month to get the goods. Cheers!!!
